We envision an Africa where all people, regardless of geography or income, have access to timely, affordable, and high-quality diagnostics. Our vision is to lead a new era of health resilience on the continent—where local innovation powers health equity, and where Africa is no longer dependent on external systems for essential health technologies. Through local production, research, and partnerships, Botaepa aims to help make universal health coverage a reality across Africa.
Botaepa Biotech exists to transform Africa’s diagnostic landscape by developing and manufacturing essential molecular diagnostic tools and building laboratory infrastructure that meets the highest international standards. Our mandate is to promote local innovation, nurture a new generation of African scientists and researchers, and support equitable access to diagnostics across the continent.
